Is PHP worth learning in 2024?

Every year this is one of the most asked questions in the developers' community. The other formula of the same question is to know whether PHP is dead and worth learning. We understand your skepticism, as programming languages evolve and change at a rapid pace. However, we are confident that PHP is still a valuable skill to learn and use in today's technology landscape.

We must admit that there is a whole propaganda going on to discourage people from learning PHP. And, we(The PHP Community) do understand that. It's the law of the fittest. That's why we have to come out and express the benefits of learning PHP instead of talking about its lacuna which every other language has anyway.

Sorry that I would have started this way. Most books start by selling to you the dream, but I showed you the one and only nightmare on PHP. The reason is simply that you and I are about to go a long way learning PHP and Web Development. It's important that we all have the same level of motivation. I wouldn’t want some daunting mindset to come on our way to depart us in the middle of the road. That's why I start by clearing it entirely. That way you save your precious time and I would have less to explain.
